Some of the more popular A&A Training courses are listed and they all reflect current practice. There are many more courses provided by A&A and if you have a specific requirement and it is not listed, then your requests will be discussed in detail and a course will be tailored to your needs.
A&A can provide training on site, at your venue or a suitable location can be arranged to suit you, the client. A&A are also covered by full public liability insurance, employer’s liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.
Most courses include theoretical sessions, and practical components. Theory sessions include current guidelines, research, personal experiences and best practice. These sessions are delivered utilising various forms of teaching to encourage candidate interaction, and to maximise learning, such as, PowerPoint presentations, questionnaires, group work, group presentations, flip charts, open discussion, open questioning and group reflection. Practice sessions in Moving and Handling for clinical staff, allow candidates to practice using moving and handling adjuncts, such as hoists and slide sheets.
