Paediatric and midwifery courses
We deliver a wide range of paediatric courses on request. Demand is highest for those dictated by mandatory requirements. Two courses, which are now mandatory for all nurses who have contact with children, are annual paediatric basic life support and child protection training.
Midwifery
All our midwifery instructors are practising senior midwives. In line with our training policy, two instructors work together on each of our courses. Mandatory requirements mean that our most requested midwifery courses are Fetal Monitoring and CTG Training and Newborn Basic Life Support. The Purchasing and Supply Agency (PASA) has made both these types of courses compulsory for all agency midwifes.
Our course content surpasses mandatory expectations and various styles of teaching are used.
